My Common Plec has been a feature of my tanks for 27 years. As he grew so did the tanks. He now lives in a 2.1 long tank with a bespoke cabinet I made featuring English Oak. Tank mates are Torpedo Barbs, Filament barbs, Rainbow Cichlids and a shoal of corydoras.

For work at King's Aquatics, I built this display tank—easy & beautiful for customers! It's an ideal first aquascape or next project. Manager Matt chose the fish: Xiphophorus nezahualcoyotl and Limia nigrofasciata. Submitting it as a surprise for him!

After years of loving fish for their calming effect, I set up my first tank in December, a Juwel 190. Watching MD Fish Tanks taught me a lot about plant care. Now I run a community tank with harlequins, cherry barbs, a bristlenose, and plenty of Amano shrimp.
