Fish tank ideas from the readers of Practical Fishkeeping Magazine, showcase your work and share your photographs with the Fishkeeping community! Each month, we'll pick our favourites to feature in the Community Tanks section of the magazine. One star entry will receive a AQUADIP Care Package worth over £50 (RRP)*. My dad was in the fish keeping hobby, at 16 he gave me my own tank, since then I've been hooked ! Aquariums are my medicine, a place to forget the stress of the world. The fish keeping community is full of the most wonderful people who are always willing to give advise.

Two of my trio of dwarf snakeheads getting their dinner, bloodworm. They are in 180l bowfront tank with a fluval 406 filter. It's got a load of bogwood and heavily planted with crypts, amazon swords and anubias.

My tank is an extension for my love for the life under the water. My tank allows me to have my own little piece of underwater life when I’m not scuba diving. I am continually improving my knowledge and experience of fish keeping, learning that every fish has its own personality.
