Fish tank ideas from the readers of Practical Fishkeeping Magazine, showcase your work and share your photographs with the Fishkeeping community! I've been keeping fish almost by accident. When I met my other half, she had 2 goldfish, with 1 looking very poorly. My research to help them made me come across aquascaping, and today I look after multiple tanks for friends, family and even clients! :) Love my job.

Only back in the hobby this year after 40 years away due to work commitments. First try at an aquascape in a EA 900 aquarium and an Oase 650 biotherm filter. Unbelievable how the hobby has changed.

I thought, I know I'll aquascape a 5ft tank (go big or don't bother), not bad for my first go, learnt a lot, do's and dont's, the biggest advice in a planted tank, keep a diary, and DO NOT ADD MOSS!!!

My mystery snail, guppy, and dwarf crayfish breeding tank. The netting at the top is enough to keep the snails from crawling out of the tank

6x2x2 Foot freshwater setup with Clouded Archerfish and a wide range of L-Numbers and Loaches. Went for a low maintenance design with crypts and Anubias plants planted around dragonstone rock and two large pieces of mangrove wood.
