This is a 300l Bioscape tank with a Oase Biomaster 350 external canister filter. It currently houses 30 Paracheirodon axelrodi, 12 juvenile hypancistrus zebra and 10 Hyphessobrycon cyanotaenia. I would call it a hybrid between blackwater and planted tank.

Inspired by Alex's Amazon River sandbank biotope I decided to have a go myself. Just neons and julii corys.. super pleased. Six weeks on now, neons settled in really well, corys still a bit skittish... thanks for the inspiration Alex!!

Being an aquarist is my way of relaxing and decompressing after a long day of work. I love the challenge of constantly working towards creating the best home for my tank inhabitants and it is very rewarding to be able to sit and watch what I have achieved.

I love my aquarium hoppy, so relaxing. just having to sit in front of my tank watching my fish feed after a long shift at work is enough to relive all my stress. Always looking into knowing about fish and aqua scaping makes me busy.
