A bespoke 130x45x32cm 180lt covered glass tank. This was a Rio Negro biotope, but over the last 12 months have gone down planted route using South American only plants where possible.

Being an aquarist is my way of relaxing and decompressing after a long day of work. I love the challenge of constantly working towards creating the best home for my tank inhabitants and it is very rewarding to be able to sit and watch what I have achieved.

My dad was in the fish keeping hobby, at 16 he gave me my own tank, since then I've been hooked ! Aquariums are my medicine, a place to forget the stress of the world. The fish keeping community is full of the most wonderful people who are always willing to give advise.
