If you have always fancied a fish watching trip in the Amazon now could be your chance to go.

The specialist tour operator Amazon Trekkers, an offshoot of Milton Keynes based Hobby Fish, has a trip scheduled for 9-19 October, 2005, but there are still a few spaces left to fill.

The expedition leaves Manaus, the capital of Amazonas on October 9th and participants will travel several hundred miles up the Rio Negro on board the Alyson, a comfortable traditional Amazon river boat.

If there is time the expedition may also travel up the Rio Unini and the Rio Branco, which offer both different scenery and different wildlife and fish-life to that seen in the Negro.

The remaining places are priced at 555, plus flights (usually around 600).
