Setting up a nano reef

With limited space and our appetites well and truly whetted for all things reef, than nano tank is soaring in popularity.
In times gone by, most experts would push people away from the small marine tank, but with the hobby progressing so quickly, the high level of knowledge about the hobby has meant that most people are now easily capable enough to go smaller.

What we usedWe used a fairly typical 60cm/24" aquarium, holding roughly 84 litres, and then obtained the following items to turn it into the nano tank you see above:
- Tunze Reefpack 200 skimmer and filter from Tunze
- Arcadia T5 luminaire lighting from Arcadia
- Visitherm heater (75W) from Underworld
- Hagen Aquaclear 20 powerhead from Hagen
- Reef Crystals salt from Underworld
- Instant Ocean hydrometer from Underworld
- Phosban phosphate remover from Underworld
- Nature's Ocean live sand from CaribSea
- Aquarian Marine flake food from Aquarian
