Cambridgeshire Koi Show next weekend

If you're looking for something to do next weekend (July 21-22) why not make tracks to the East of England Cambridgeshire Koi Show?

This year’s show, sponsored by Koyoshi Premium Koi Foods, TMC Ultraviolet Clarifiers, The Japanese Koi Company and RotoInnovations has over 40 vats of Koi being displayed in the centre ring, which is being exclusively sponsored by Chiyu, and the organisers anticipate having around 300 of the best Koi in the UK being exhibited, for you to cast your eye over.

There will also be regular demonstrations on how to create a bonsai from a stock plant as well as the ability to bring your own along for a trim, reshape and health check up if required.

Love the animals? If you do then you'll be pleased to know that the Alpacas are back in attendance over the weekend as are the Japanese Akita Welfare Trust who will be promoting the work they do in helping rescue and rehabilitate Akitas in need.

There’s a range of catering options available and for those of you that aren’t driving, there’s a licensed bar on site for the weekend as well. Parking is free and this year, access to a large concrete hard standing means if the weather isn’t too kind to the show, no one gets covered in mud!

The venue is Mudds Drove, Threeholes, Cambridgeshire, PE14 9JU. Entrance is £3 for adults; accompanied under 16’s free!
