Issue Summary

Make the most of what you have. I think that’s a simple enough rule, and it applies especially well to fishkeeping. This month we showcase aquarist Ian Cresdee who had an old coal store under his house, so he tidied it up and turned it into an exquisite reef room. It’s one of the nicest set ups we’ve seen and we think you’ll agree.

You might not have space or resources for a big saltwater set up. We understand that. So, if you’re a little harder up, you might want to take a leaf out of new writer Grace William’s book and get involved with Betta breeding instead. Gorgeous fish, minimal outlay, and if you’re good at it, a healthy return.

Whatever you choose to take away from this month’s issue, make the most of it. That’s what this hobby’s all about, right?
