TUNZE have launched two new recirculation pumps for fresh and saltwater aquariums, pumping up to 2400lph and 3000lph respectively.

The manufacturer claims that the two models are very silent to run, and come with a rotor with high-performance one-part magnet, and an all-ceramic bearing.
At a maximum of 30W and 42W respective energy usage they are also said to be very low energy consumption.
Other features include a motor winding with protective thermostat, adjustable output and an ergonomic design.

They come with 3/4" gas thread or NPT thread connectable to PVC fittings, for applications such as calcium reactors, filters, and they are said to have a stable fit ensured by four integrated suction cups.
Tunze Silence pumps are amphibious, meaning that they can be used in or out of water. This offers greater flexibility and externally mounted pumps will not add any heat to the water.

The Silence 1073.02 produces 200 to 2,400 l/h (52 to 634 USgal./h) with an energy consumption of 14 to 30 W (15 to 34 W).
Pumping head is 2 m (78.7 in.) with a cable length of 2 m (78.7 in.) Dimensions for the housing without outlet and suction cups are 118 x 94 x 75 mm (4.6 x 3.7 x 2.9 in.).
The Silence 1073.04 produces 300 to 3,000 l/h (79 to 792 USgal./h) with an energy consumption of 16 to 42W (18 to 47 W).
Pumping head is 3 m (118 in.) with a cable length of 2 m (78.7 in.) Dimensions for the housing without outlet and suction cups are 118 x 94 x 75 mm (4.6 x 3.7 x 2.9 in.).
