Dennis Taylor of the Ferrybridge Aquatic Show Team has scooped the Fish of Fishes 2010 prize for his Sulphur head peacock cichlid, Aulonocara maylandi.

Taylor scooped the prize yesterday at the Yorkshire Aquarist Festival and said that the fish had already won three Best in Show prizes this year, despite being only a year old.

The Fish of Fishes prize is awarded to the best fish that has previously won a Best in Show at other Yorkshire Aquarist Society events.

The fish is kept alone in a 120cm tank and is fed on bloodworm and flake.
