PlantedTanks has been in negotiations with Dohse Aquaristik KG with specific intentions to set up and wholesale Dupla, Dupla Marin, Hobby and Hobby Reptile to the UK market.
Online plant retailer PlantedTanks tells us that this follows notification from Zolux Hobby UK that ZHUK is no longer to trade in the UK, returning all wholesale services to the relevant parent companies in both France and Germany. This would potentially affect the supply and availability of goods into the UK.
PlantedTanks says of its negotiations with Dohse Aquaristik KG: "We are pleased to announce that this has been met with favourable terms between both companies.
"We are currently working on revised retail pricing and shipping services to support this sudden change of supply and will be releasing full details in the near future. This is further supporting the move by PlantedTanks to a more suitable accommodation.
"We will be working with Dohse Aquaristik KG across the coming weeks to ensure supply is not impeded in any way.
"We are currently awaiting a discussion with Zolux and will advise if this is also to be a product offered in the future."
