DD The Aquarium Solution has launched a range of new high-sensitivity test kits for marine aquarium owners.

The new DD test kits are based on the comparative testing technique used in the professional level kits from Hach and Merck and are supplied in a study hard plastic case, which won't perish as cardboard test kit packaging can.

The range includes a triple test kit covering calcium, magnesium and alkalinity (dKH); a sensitive and "easy-to-use" iodine test kit, a nitrate test and a phosphate test kit. DD told Practical Fishkeeping that a potassium test kit is also due for launch after Interzoo.

DD The Aquarium Solution also sells refill bottles which allow the user to save money by not paying for the same packaging twice.

Prices for the new range of test kits have yet to be confirmed, but the products should be available from September 2010 onwards.
