Tropical Marine Centre has launched a new range of fluidised media reactors.
"These new filters, which are suitable for both marine and freshwater applications, utilize the most efficient method of aerobic biological filtration available, and can be easily incorporated with any aquarium set up," say TMC.
"The versatile compact design of the V2Bio means it can be installed internally in a sump or aquarium or externally as a stand alone or ‘hang-on’ filter and its specially designed media diffuser bowl ensures uniform fluidisation of the filter media."
"The V2Bio is supplied complete with silica sand but it can also be used to fluidise other media and is ideal for use with phosphate removing media. V2Bio marine oolitic sand is also available separately."
There are three models in the V2Bio range: the V2Bio 600 for up to 600 litres/130 UK gallons, the V2Bio 1000 for up to 1000 litres/220 UK gallons and the V2Bio 1500 for up to 1500 litres/330 UK gallons. RRPs are £49.99, £69.99 and £89.99 respectively.
The products are due to go on sale in the UK in March 2010.
