TMC has added the new ColourPlus LED 1000 aquarium lighting to its range.
The new ColourPlus LED lighting features coloured LEDs to highlight and enhance the colours in your aquarium, with 4 x white CREE® XP-G PowerLEDs and 2 x green, 2 x red and 2 x blue CREE® XP-E PowerLEDs.
It's ideal for use on freshwater set ups, as well as planted tanks and fish only marine aquariums, where it can be used as supplementary lighting or as a sole lighting source.
It gives a natural shimmer effect (unlike fluorescent lighting) and has a wide angle beam for maximum light spread and colour mixture.
The unit is very compact, measuring just 20 x 20cm/8 8", making it suitable for use in nano and other smaller tanks.
Cool running means no noisy fans and minimal heat transfer to the aquarium water, reducing the need for expensive cooling systems and making it suitable for installation in aquarium hoods.
Compatible with all other AquaRay products including the Modular Mounting System (MMS) and Controllers, versatile mounting fixtures are included, allowing a wide variety of replacement, retrofit and new install options on all sizes of aquaria.
Sealed, waterproof casing and a low DC voltage power supply means the unit is easy and safe to use in all conditions.
The ColourPlus LED lighting system is future-proofed with built-in capability and compatibility for digital timing and dimming.
