Dutch supplier Aquadistri have released a new planting substrate for aquariums.

Called Colombo Flora Grow Base, Aquadistri state that it is a "new Japanese plant fertilizer substrate and top layer all in one."

It "Regulates pH for approximately one year so fish will do better and plants will grow better beacuse of the improved availability of CO2." say Aquadistri.

"With this substrate you create the perfect environment for most of the fish varieties and shrimps."

Colombo Flora Grow Base is available in two sizes, five litre and 10 litre, and two colours, brown and black.

RRPs of the products are 19.95 for the five litre size and 32.50 for the 10 litre size.
