This weekend's aquatic event at Romsey World of Water has been postponed after floods hit the area.

"Romsey World of Underwater" is perhaps a more apt name at the moment," says Romsey's James Dwyer. "Flooding has hit a large area of Romsey, Hampshire leading to road closures, including all access to the store. It is for this reason that the staff had had to take the decision to postpone the annual aquatic event until March 15-16.

"The event will continue as normal on the revised dates so you can look forward to exclusive offers from suppliers a £2000 prize fund and our usual excellent livestock."

Local customers and anyone visiting the site can check Romsey World of Water's Facebook page for updates.
