The fishkeeping societies Fancy Guppies UK and the British Livebearer Association are set to host a joint annual convention in Warwick this Autumn.

The Convention will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of October at IBM Warwick, Birmingham Road, Warwick, CV34 5AH.

The convention consists of a Fancy Guppy Contest, Endlers (Poecilia wingei) Show, Livebearer Show, Display Biotopes, Guest Speakers, Information Exchange Forum, Sales tables, and the British Livebearer Association Annual Auction.

Fancy Guppies UK is the national Club for all guppy hobbyists. The British Livebearer Association is the club for anyone keeping livebearers (wild or domestic). BLA is particularly interested in species conservation.

Fancy Guppies UK Chairman, Bill Galbally says: “Come along and meet like-minded people who share your interests — it’s a very friendly gathering. There will be outstanding fish on display and for sale. Whether you would like to enter your fish into the shows, or just have a mooch around, all are welcome.”
