There's a chance to pick up some rare and unusual fish when the East Anglia Cichlid Group hold their next presentation and auction on Sunday October 17, 2010.

The event takes place at Risby Village Hall, Aylmer Close, Risby, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 6RT. Doors open at 10am, with an entrance fee of £5 which also makes visitors a member of the EACG for the day.

The speaker on the day will be Rusty Wessel from the USA who is an avid collector of Central American cichlids and livebearers. Rusty will be presenting on the Thorichthys group of cichlids with emphasis on their care and breeding. He has also donated a quantity of rare and unusual Central American cichlids that will be auctioned off after his presentation with no reserves.

There will also be a substantial raffle with prizes donated by PFK, Tetra, Jewel Aquariums, Swallow Garden Centre, JMC and Extreme Fish Foods.  Catering is available on the day.
