A pair of shore crabs have been rescued from a lift in Birmingham!
A woman received a shock when she discovered a pair of shore crabs in the lift at her block of flats.
(Apparently she was just "nipping" to the shops...)
The woman, who didn't leave her name, took the crabs in a Tupperware container to her local Sea Life Centre, where they are currently being quarantined.
Eventually they will be re-located to the shoreline and rockpool exhibition display in the centre.
