North American Pet Products, who manufacture pet products and habitat displays and are based in Corona, California, has acquired the assets of Casco Group Incorporated.

Under the new arrangement, Casco Group, which manufactures aquariums and commercial pet display systems, will operate as a division of North American Pet Products. Financial terms were not disclosed.

North American Pet Products plans to move Casco Group's Cerritos operations to its headquarters in Corona. The move is expected to take several months. Existing Casco Group facilities in Utah, Illinois and Mexico will remain in their current locations and continue to operate as usual.

It is understood that the company has absorbed all of Casco Group's employees, for a total employee count of about 200. The company plans to continue working closely with Casco Europe to maintain a strong global presence.
