Pop star Britney Spears has told her husband to rehome his pet sharks as she fears for the safety of his children.
According to Life and Style, Spears is worried that Federline's two children from his previous relationship with the actress Shar Jackson could be maimed by his pet Grey nurse sharks, Carcharias taurus.
The sharks which live in a "giant tank" and Spears told the magazine that she's terrified of them:
"Kevin's sharks are the size of my arm. He feeds them tons of shrimp and they're getting bigger. I'm scared. They're white sharks, but they're not Great Whites."
The report says that Spears has demanded that her husband gets rid of the six sharks - which can reach a length of up to 3m/10'.
A friend of Federline's was reported as saying: "Kevin loves those sharks. He even named them. But Brit said there's no way he'd be keeping them."
