The British Cichlid Association has announced the details of the experts due to speak at its Spring Convention.
Cichlid expert and writer Alf Stalsberg, who specialises mainly in South American cichlids, is talking about his hunt for members of the Aequidens genus during his visits to Ecuador and Peru.

Discus guru Bernd Degen, who has been a big name in the Discus hobby for many years, is talking about methods for maintaining Discus in the planted aquarium.
The Convention also includes trade stands, as well as an auction of cichlids and catfishes bred by members.
The Convention takes place on April 19, 2009, at the Lodge Park Social Club, Wirehall Drive, Lodge Park, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 7LH. Doors open at 10am.
