Members of the aquatic trade in the UK and Europe are getting ready for the year's largest trade show, Glee, which is held at the NEC in Birmingham and starts on Sunday.

The garden and leisure show includes stands from 1600 different companies, 15% of which are new this year, and serves as the launchpad for a large number of new products each year.

The prestigious new products awards in aquatics are again being judged by Practical Fishkeeping's Technical and Website Editor, Matt Clarke. Steve Windsor, General Manager of Emap's pets titles, and Editor of the Complete Guide to Water Gardening, is judging the water gardening entries, while David Connor, Editor of trade publication Pet Product Marketing, judges pets entries.

The pet and aquatic sectors are incorporated into Glee Petindex, which is held in Hall 4 of the NEC.

Pet Product Marketing and Practical Fishkeeping representatives will be on stand D24 in Hall 4 throughout the show.

Unfortunately, Glee is a trade-only exhibition, and members of the public aren't allowed inside.
