Bristol Zoo is currently advertising a vacancy for a keeper to work primarily in their public aquarium.

The role of Keeper is a section 2 position and covers the aquarium, reptiles and small mammals parts of the collections, but the emphasis for this role is in the aquarium.

The zoo is looking for a keen fishkeeper who is educated to at least GCSE level, preferably with English and a biological science.

The candidate will also need to have some experience in animal husbandry, and a general knowledge of the conservation and educational roles of zoos.

If you've ever fancied turning your hobby into a full time job, this could be just the thing for you.

To apply, you need to send a CV to the General Curator, Duncan Bolton, before the closing date on Friday January 21st.
