Tunze has developed the Comline Mangrove Box for the growth of mangroves in saltwater or hydroponic plants in freshwater paludariums.
Mangroves are useful in the aquarium as they utilise nutrients for growth. Now Tunze has designed the Comline Mangrove Box to make growing them easier.
The Comline Mangrove Box 3178 has been developed for the growth of mangroves in saltwater or hydroponic plants in freshwater. The plants grow well because the bacterially decomposed organic waste matter is absorbed by the roots in a concentrated way.
The Comline Mangrove Box has an ideal immersion depth of 100 to 130mm (3.9 to 5.1"). Attachment is with a magnet holder up to a glass pane thickness of 19mm/0.74". Dimensions: L 125 x W 113 x H 300 mm/4.9 x 4.4 x 11.8 in").
Tunze can also supply Black mangrove (Avicennia germinans) seeds or small plants for saltwater growth. This particular type has been selected especially for its fast growth.
