Red Sea launches all-new MAX E-Series reef system
Red Sea has introduced a new range of complete open top reef systems with LED lighting.
The MAX E-Series features the latest in reefkeeping technology including Reef-Spec LED lighting with its integrated Wi-Fi control, Reef Spec filtration and circulation systems and a revolutionary modular sump system.
Available in 170 and 260 l versions, MAX E systems have a contemporary rimless glass aquarium and stylish cabinet that follows the same contour as the glass, giving a modern look and feel. The aquariums incorporate a Rear Sump equipped with a professional protein skimmer, ECO circulation pumps and media rack, all of which are discreetly hidden from view. The advanced AI Hydra26HD LED lighting with built-in Wi-Fi control and Red Sea’s integrated power centre complete the standard configuration. But that’s not all…
An all-in-one system with a rear sump offers a great solution for a complete reef system. However at some point hobbyists may wish to add more advanced filtration systems that can only be added to a stand-alone in-cabinet sump. The E-Series takes that into account and has been designed to advance along with the hobbyist.
MAX E-Series systems include a unique multiport bulkhead enabling the user to easily convert the integrated rear sump into a fully operational in-cabinet sump. Red Sea’s unique overflow system with its fully regulated silent-flow downpipe as used in Reefer and MAX S-Series, easily connects to the multiport bulkhead without the need for any cutting or gluing or emptying of the entire aquarium. The upgrade is available either as a pipe and valve upgrade kit so that hobbyists can design, build and install their own sump, or as a complete upgrade kit that includes the pipe and valve upgrade kit and a professional sump featuring micron filter bags, constant height skimmer chamber, bubble trap and ATO (Automatic Top Off) with reverse osmosis reservoir.
