Aquascaping guru Takashi Amano has created two huge planted tanks in Sumida Aquarium, inside a building called Tokyo Sky Tree Town.

The aquariums were 7m and 4m long respectively, and are the largest nature aquariums that he has created to date.

Aqua Design Amano, his company, documented the entire progress of the build on video and today released its latest video, now with the tank set up, stocked, planted and maturing nicely.

The video is presented by the man himself, with English subtitles, detailing the designs and how he realised them.

We can't help but be amazed, and credit too for stocking lots of small fish in such large tanks, enabling the observer to witness near wild shoaling behaviour.

Enjoy.
