An artist in Berlin creates works of art using dead fish as models.

Anne-Catherine Becker-Echivard buys the fish from her local fishmonger and dresses them up to look like humans before displaying them in scenes depicting everyday jobs.

It takes the 42-year-old Paris-born artist several months to build the props and sets, some of which measure 2m/6.5' in length. Once everything is ready she goes out and buys the fish, dresses them up in clothes and positions them for photography.

The fish aren't wasted either, because when she's finished with them she eats them for dinner.

She says she was inspired by a hobby she had when she was a child - dressing up mice!
