Tetra has added two new fish treatments to its range.

Tetra Media Lifeguard is a completely new type of medicine. It benefits from Tetra’s exclusive, new Halo Shield formula which contains an active ingredient called N-halamine. It has been scientifically proven to be faster and more effective than traditional treatments and is unique to Tetra.

The product has been specifically formulated for aquariums and is effective against a broad range of diseases, making it easier to dose and treat sick fish. It comes in tablet form so is easy to dose – just drop the tablet into the aquarium. It is also guaranteed not to discolour the water.

Katie Ferguson, Product Manager at Tetra UK comments: "TetraMedica Lifeguard is a product unique to us. It is safe and easy to dose and covers a broad spectrum of diseases, so you can treat your fish quickly and with confidence. It takes the guesswork out of choosing a remedy. Independent tests have proven it to work more quickly and safely than other medicines and it offers the reassurance of the Tetra brand name with all the expertise that entails."

Tetra has also launched Marine MedicaGeneral, a broad spectrum treatment for most common diseases. It is safe for most corals and invertebrates which means you don’t have to take fish out of the aquarium to treat them. It is also harmless to algae.
