Leading fancy goldfish specialist Star Fisheries is opening up to the public this coming weekend.

Many high quality, rare and unusual fancy goldfish varieties will be on show at the Open Day on Saturday February 26 2011, and will be available for sale to the public.

Varieties include Tri-color oranda, Black and white oranda, High-back-short-tail ryukin and exclusive UK bred Nationwide Standards breeds.

For the ranchu lovers there will Jinchu Kai line Japanese ranchu, red ranchu, black ranchu, red lionheads, red and black lionheads and red and white lionheads.

Other Japanese fish include very rare Josakin and Jikin.

Fish are displayed in a new area and together make up the largest selection of fancy goldfish in the UK.
