Vice President of Southend, Leigh and District Aquarist Society has left the group to be closer to family.

Dave Lawrie, who is moving to Arbroath, was held a "goodbye dinner" on May 30 by the society.
As well as Vice President duties, Lawrie was a judge at the society's table shows and was a fixture at club meetings.
Once settled in his new home, Lawrie says he will look into joining a local society.
He suggested the Southend club might enjoy inter club table shows with his new club in Scotland.
Members from Southend joke that they would be delighted to participate with inter club shows if Lawrie provided accommodation and covered fuel costs.
