Food and products manufacturer New Era have have launched a new food aimed at Discus.
"Using a fine blend of ingredients such as fresh bloodworm, high quality fish, shrimp and a unique blend of minerals, these moisture controlled soft pellets will be distributed to over 200 stockists across the UK." Say New Era.
"New Era has been extensively trialling the new Discus Diet pellets over recent months with excellent results and is excited about the new revolutionary product."
"We identified a gap in the market to feed discus," Said Peter Kersh, New Era's Managing Director.
"Our wealth of experience in formulating diets for different species together with in house manufacturing capabilities, enabled us to create a pellet rich in protein which would give the nutrient profile needed for feeding Discus"
Practical Fishkeeping Magazine has requested samples of the new food for inclusion in a fourth coming review.
