Rolf C. Hagen has introduced a new fish net and a gravel cleaner to its range of accessories for the Fluval Edge.
The Extendable Fish Net has a 10cm/4" triangular head that allows access to hard-to-reach places, such as corners or between decorative ornaments. It has a soft handle to make it more comfortable to use. Hagen says the netting material is very smooth and is safe for handling delicate species. It can be extended up to 56cm/22.5" and the rigid metal tube is designed for heavy-duty use.
The Fluval Edge Gravel Cleaner features an easy-start valve that automatically begins syphoning by a simple up and down motion in the water. As you clean the aquarium, the gravel cleaner generates a continuous flow of water that sucks up dirt and debris and returns clean gravel back to the bottom of the aquarium. Dirty water is expelled into a bucket.
The gravel cleaner comes with two cleaning attachments: a gravel head for deep cleaning and a slim nozzle head for hard to reach areas. Hagen says that these precision heads are especially effective in planted and decorated aquariums. The gravel cleaner features an exclusive gravel guard that prevents gravel from clogging the tube.
The gravel cleaner comes with a 38cm gravel tube for the 23 l. Edge aquarium and an additional 38cm extension tube for the 46 l. version.
