The British Killifish Association is holding its annual convention over the weekend of October 9-11, 2015.
The BKA celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, having been founded back in 1965 by a small group of dedicated killifish fans — it's now one of the largest and foremost killifish organisations in Europe.
Both speakers at the event are very prominent names in the killifish world: Wim Suijker will be lecturing on his Adventures in Guyana and French Guiana on the Saturday and Heinz Ott will be speaking on the Sunday with a review of the Epiplatys genus.
There will also be a show, auction, sales stands and a raffle.
The convention takes place at the Mercure Wetherby Hotel, Leeds, Road, Wetherby, LS22 5HE. Admission is just £3 each day.
