A Chinese businessman has paid £24,000 for a rare Golden snapper in Chittagong, southeastern Bangladesh.

The unidentified man bought the 37kg/82lb fish from seller Jahangir Saudagar, who sold it to him after buying it at an auction.

Only about four of the snappers are caught in the Bay of Bengal every year. They are prized for their "tasty bladder and succulent flesh" according to Mr. Saudagar.
