The Festival of Fishkeeping takes place on October 26-28 at Sand Bay Leisure Resort, Weston-super-Mare— traditionally marking the ‘end of ‘the season' for exhibiting fishkeepers.
Culminating in the 'Supreme Championship final,' the festival offers resident and visiting fishkeepers the opportunity to see top-class fish from all aspects of the hobby looking at their very best — especially if entered for the top competitions held throughout the weekend.
In addition from these contests, this year sees a new ladies-only competition — the Nano Furnished Aquarium, supported by Aqua One.
Entrants need to be booked in and pre-registered by September 28. Complete AquaNano 30 kits, with additional replica plant decorations, will be reserved for contestants to furnish and be completed by 10am on the Saturday, Numbers are limited to ten and be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

An added attraction will celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Diamond classes have been included at Societies' open shows throughout the season and class winners will be eligible for a Diamond class final.

Entry is free to day visitors on the Saturday and Sunday. Each day visitor will be given a Lucky Draw Door Ticket on arrival at the Festival. The draw will be made at 4pm and the lucky winner will receive specially donated gifts — a perfect end to a great day out.
