The makers of Visitherm and Maxijet have launched a new range of aquarium pumps.

Called NeWave, they have high outputs yet low power consumption, and can used in both fresh and salt water aquariums.

Six models make up the range, with outputs from 750 - 6700lph, and energy consumption from 2.5-10.9 watts.

The pumps are mounted using a suction cup and feature a ball joint bracket which Aquarium Systems say makes for easy adjustable positioning.

The smallest model, the NeWave 1000 has an adjustable flow from 750-1400lph, making it suitable for nano reefs, and all models come with a three year guarantee.

Prices range from 30.95 - 85.95 RRP.
