| Harrogate Aquatic (formally Tropica) has been established for around 20 years. The shop is run by a dedicated team of 3 full timers and 3 part time staff, who are all enthusiastic fish keepers and will tend to any needs you have, however big or small. We stock a large range of equipment from leading manufacturers including: Arcadia, Jewel, Eheim, Hagen, Tetra, JBL, TMC, etc. Anything we don’t have in stock we can order in, usually within the week. We also stock tanks from: Jewel, Red Sea, Ocean Free, Eheim, Aquael and Arcadia, although our stock is always changing to meet the demands of our customers. Again, please ask if you would like anything ordering or just a quotation. We are best known for specialising in planted aquariums using the Dennerle system. We stock everything from CO2 Kits and Heating Cables to Fertilizers and Trocal Lighting. We ship to anywhere in the UK using our couriers as well as offering online discounts from our online shop. We sell Tropica and Dennerle potted plants as well as bunched plants from Singapore and receive weekly deliveries of both. Livestock wise we have freshwater fish ranging from ‘bread & butter’ community fish (Guppys, Neons, Barbs etc) as well as Angels, Gouramis, Rams and Rift Cichlids from Malawi and Tanganika. In the Coldwater range we have Goldfish and Fancies, plus Minnows, Loaches and Golden Apple Snails. We have several Marine and Invert. tanks, housing a mixture of beginner and expert fish such as Clowns, Tangs, Butterflies, Triggers and Puffers, and Hard and Soft corals from TMC. Motile inverts. include, Cleaner Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, Lobsters, Malu and Bubble Tip Anemones, Hermit Crabs and Feather Dusters. Our weekly stock is usually different every week depending on availability at our suppliers. We also keep cured live rock from Indonesia in store at all times. Finally, over the summer months we have a large selection of pond fish and plants, pre-form ponds and PVC and Firestone liners, nets, foods, pumps, filters and UVC’s. Water features and garden statues are also available throughout the year. |
