| Coventry Aquatics recently opened its new store on Daventry Road in Coventry. The smart new fish room stocks a wide range of tropical, marine, coldwater and pond fish, and is backed up by a range of marine inverts and aquarium plants in their own "snail-free" display tank. Store owner, Robin Hopkins, told Practical Fishkeeping that the shop is stocking Juwel, Clear Seal, Tetra, Life Style, Betta, Aqua Medic and Deltec tanks, as well as those from other manufacturers. It also offers a service where you can choose a tank tailor-made to your specific requirements. As well as all those tanks, and what Robin says he's heard is "one of the best Juwel displays in the country", are masses of dry goods. Robin said: "We stock all styles, shapes and sizes to match your specific needs. We also have aquarium treatments, mechanical and biological media, test kits, tropical and coldwater foods, internal and external filters, air pumps, T5 and T8 lighting, spares and accessories and much more. There's also a pond section with pond pumps, filters, UVs, pond plants, PVC and rubber liners, fibreglass and plastic ponds, stock tanks, waterfeature sumps, pond lights and lots more." The shop also sells live foods, including Daphnia and bloodworm, as well as lots of frozen foods. There's also a CO2-refilling service, and you can buy RO water and pre-mixed salted RO for your reef tank, too. Robin says that he likes to try out as many of the products he sells as possible, so he's better able to endorse and advise: "There are a lot of cheap and nasty products out their and it amazes me that people risk using them in their aquariums or ponds risking all the quality of their livestock, it's simply a false economy and you always get what you pay for."
