| Aquatic Finatic opened in May 1995 in a converted farm building at Sinderby. Since then, thanks to many valued customers and what we believe to be a good honest, friendly service and quality stock, we have grown. We moved to our current premises, (again converting farm buildings) in July 2002. We now have as well as our very popular aquatic departments, a pet department and a reptile section. We offer maintenance services on pond and aquaria, board small pets and take our reptiles and pets on educational and fun visits to schools and parties. We feel it is our duty as responsible pet keepers to help our customers to keep their pets in the the best possible way, this means spending time passing on the important information needed, and we always aim to do this. As part of this aim to help ‘get things right’ we offer a water testing service and encourage new starters to test regularly especially before adding new live stock. All our aquaria are individually filtered and maintained and we feel that although we may not appear the most modern looking shop our livestock benefits from being kept this way. Many customers comment on our extensive dry goods range we have over the years added products we believe in and a member of staff can usually personally recommend a product from our shelves, but of course with weekly deliveries if we don’t have the item required we can usually order it. We are stockists of Hagen/Laguna, Aqua One, Interpet, Waterlife, Juwel, Tetra, Lucky reptile, T Rex, Aquarian/API, Rockways As we have once again stocked our main shop till it looks like it may burst at the seams we have added an aquarium showroom where we have, we hope an aquarium to suit each and every one of our customers. With an enormous selection of pond plants, fish, liners waterfalls, pumps etc we feel justified in saying that we keep “all you need to build stock and maintain your garden pond” and once again we like to spend time with our customers making sure the equipment they purchase is what they need for the effect they hope to achieve. As with our aquatic and pet department we try to stock our vivariums with some easy starter reptiles and a few of the more unusual ones. We have a good range of dry goods (again ones we ourselves can personally recommend) and keep all the live and frozen foods. |

| Specialist stock | We try to keep as varied a selection of livestock as possible. Our customers will fins 'all the usual, many unsusal and some very unusual' we stock locally bred fish where possible, often paying a little more for them to encourgae local breeders and hobbyists.
