little fish aquatics
Little Fish Aquatics and Reptiles in Taunton, Somerset, aims to cater for all areas of the hobby. Manager, Paul Blow, told Practical Fishkeeping:
"We have a passion for providing all your aquatic and reptile needs, from the smallest bowl to large marine systems, we can offer products and advice for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced keeper you will find something to suit. We stock dry goods from all the major suppliers, and carry a range of fish and reptiles from around the world.
"With over 50 years of combined experience our staff are always pleased to help. We want your visit to our shop to be an experience that you will want to repeat. The store has a large fish house with over 100 stock aquaria, 1000 square feet of dry goods showroom, a separate aquarium showroom, a coldwater and Koi area with over 5000 litres of display vats and a separate reptile display area on the upper floor.
"We have several working display tanks to inspire you on your visit, as well as displays for our aquariums and vivariums. We carry dry goods from all the major suppliers, and have access to many others that supply everything from aquarium suckers to bespoke aquariums. If you cannot find what you are looking for we will do our best to source and supply it as quickly as possible.
"If you have a particular fish you are looking for, let us know, as we source from all over the world, and their are few species we cannot obtain. Give us a call or email us for current availability, or let us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to find it for you.
"Just as a taster we carry over 15 varieties of Tetra, at least 10 varieties of Corydoras, at least 10 colour varieties of Guppy, over 30 cichlid species, and always try to have at least 10 varieties of L-number plecostomus, as well as Discus from Germany and the Far East.
"Our range of marine tanks starts from 50 litre nano systems to large aquariums with sump tanks and specialist filtration and lighting, something for everyone. Our marine livestock is housed in three 500 litre systems, for fish and invertebrates. And we have a 500 litre coral display tank housing soft and hard corals, sea urchins and starfish.
"Our coldwater area includes a 1000 litre system for fancy goldfish, as well as some more unusual species and five 1000 litre vats for Koi and goldfish for your pond. Koi are available in many colour varieties and strains that will meet the needs of even the most discerning Koi enthusiast." |
