| Real Reefs has recently moved to new larger premises at Knightsbridge Business Centre (April 2009) and now boasts an even better selection of it’s award winning livestock and dry goods. All livestock is hand selected to ensure that only healthy and vibrant stock are available. Fish are kept in their own state of the art system totalling 2500litres. All fish are fed a minimum of 5 times a day and kept in stress free conditions to make sure that each fish is in its peak health and condition. A huge variety of fish are available from reef compatible to fish only and there are over 100 species kept in stock at any one time. Corals and other invertebrates are also kept in a dedicated system totalling 2500 litres. There are over 300 corals in stock at any one time and water parameters are monitored closely to make sure that each coral receives optimum conditions. There are always rare, colourful and unusual specimens in stock. Invertebrates selection covers everything from basic clean up crew critters to rare and unusual species. A new video service is now available on the Real Reefs website where you can see everything that’s in stock on the stated date. This gives you the perfect chance to see the massive selection of livestock before you make a visit to the shop. The videos are updated every time that new stock arrives. Dry goods are carefully selected from only the best manufacturers and everything that you need to successfully run a marine tank is always available. There is a shopping section on the Real Reefs website if you can’t make it to the shop. Real Reefs is owned and run by Phil Hendry. Phil’s been involved in marines for over 16 years and has worked in the trade for over 10 years. You’ll always get honest and friendly advice from an impartial perspective. New for 2009 is Real Reefs Tank of the Month. A competition open to any of Real Reefs’ customers. Bring in a photo of your tank and it will be displayed in the shop and a winner will be chosen each month and then entered in to the tank of the year where the customers will vote for their favourite who will be crowned Real Reefs Tank of the Year 2009. Real Reefs is very proud of it’s recent PFK awards and would like to thank all of the customers who voted and crowned Real Reefs Best Small Shop 2008 and Runner Up in The Best Marine Shop 2008. This follows on from the success in 2007 of being Highly Commended in The Best Marine Shop category. |
