North East Goldfish Society
The Society exists to promote friendship and communication, without prejudice, between all Goldfish enthusiasts and to encourage the popularity of the Goldfish in all of its forms. The Society was originally formed in 1997 to fill a gap which existed in the North East of England, i.e. there are no societies within about 150 miles which in effect prevented the members from taking a more active roll at meetings organised by other Goldfish Societies
Meeting are currently held bi-monthly on the second Sunday afternoon (meetings during Jan. Mar. May, Jul. Sep. Nov.)
Usually members will receive Newsletters two weeks before each meeting informing them of future events, member’s articles, fish for sale, and any other developments in the Goldfish Hobby. To aid the Newsletter editor it is hoped that all members will take an active roll in writing articles etc.
