Video: September issue re-launch preview
Matt Clarke and Jeremy Gay explain what's in store in the amazing new-look September issue.
Video by Neil Hepworth.

The new-look September issue of Practical Fishkeeping goes on sale on August 5.
We've radically over-hauled it, crammed in loads of extra material, recruited new experts and we think we've made the magazine better than ever.
Here's a sneak preview of what treats we have in store for you when the magazine comes out!
Make sure you get down to WH Smiths or Pets @ Home and check out a copy. We think you'll love what we've done. But do let us know your thoughts - good and bad. We'd love to hear what you think.

"The tragedy is that I'm in the States until mid-October, so although the new issue should hit my doormat within days, I have to wait a couple of months before I see it.
On the plus side there should be a stack of three new-look PFKs waiting for me. From the video, the new issue looks great, and I can't wait to read it."

"This video passage clearly implies a magazine full of imagination, creativity, activity and the practical.
Their intergration in a unity is precisely represents the art and science of Editorship and team leadership that is busy and full of dynamic energy.
You and your colleaques have lit the fire and set off the cauldrom which is seething with excitment, a brew that gives off an aroma of anticipation so great that we can hardly wait to sample the real living magazine.
Regards to you and your team."

"Hello Guys,
Hope you find the stapler before 5th August!
On a more serious note the new magazine looks great and I am already waiting with anticipation for it to land on my doormat. If, like you say, it is better than the current issues then we readers are in for a treat. Keep up the good work as the mag is already a good read."

"I was wondering when you were gonna stop! the pages just seemed to keep comeing, really looking forward to picking it up, and the moaning about all the brown fish and the number of marine articles :p
P.S i bought another magazine which says it specialises in just tropical fish (freshy and marine).... and well... it was pretty pants compared to PFK, i have never been bored reading a marine article before, but this other magazine did!"

"Just wanted to say the new layout is brilliant, I really enjoyed reading my copy yesterday. Getting different people to write is also good and I especially enjoyed the Victorian cichlid article! The photo layout was also really good and so were the little snippets of info about different species/news. Looking forward to next months issue, keep up the good work, it is much appreciated!"

"If you're wondering why we look and sound more awful than usual, we'd literally both just returned from a bout of "suspected swine flu"...
Posted by: Matt Clarke - 3 months, 3 weeks agoOf course, we're so dedicated that we don't let illness get in the way of getting the magazine to the printer, so you should still find the magazine on sale on August 5 as originally intended! "
