A fisherman in Florida had a shock when he filleted a tuna he’d just caught — and discovered a man’s genitals in the fish's stomach.
The 80lb Yellowfin tuna was landed by 33-year-old Jerry Masterson on an offshore charter near Tampa, reports the Florida Sun Post.
Mr Masterson, who was fishing as part of a group, decided to fillet the fish on board the boat, but reeled back from the smell of decomposing meat coming from its stomach. On closer inspection he found that the tuna's stomach contained the private parts of a man.
The group returned to shore and turned over their rather gruesome discovery to the authorities who are reported to be investigating.
Mr Masterson told reporters that although the incident hadn’t put him off fishing, he would definitely be nervous next time he filleted a fish.
