Why is my forum account not working on the main site?

The forum and the main part of the website sit on separate servers and their databases are not connected. You'll need two accounts to access both parts of the site - one account for the forum and one for the main part of the site.

I've typed in my password but I get a message telling me it's wrong. Why?

The forum and the main site operate independently and two accounts are needed. If you try and login to the main site with your forum account, or vice versa, you will receive an error message. To login to the main site click here. To login to the forum click here.

As we encrypt all of the data you provide us with, your password, email and username are all case sensitive.

I've registered on this site in the past, but my account no longer works. What is wrong?

We have recently launched this new website and old accounts from the previous website have not been copied across. You will need to register again with a new account.

I've tried logging in but I get a message telling me the username is in use.

Either someone else has already registered using your preferred username or you've already registered before and you've forgotten. Request a password reset and, if the account is yours, you'll be sent an email. If not, please pick an alternative username.

How do I get a password reminder?

You can get a password reset for the main site here and a password reminder for the forum here

The site tells me I am not registered. If so, why do I receive your email every month?

Our email newsletter is sent from an external database held at our mailing company. Your details may be in that database but you may not necessarily have a members' account here. If you get an error message saying that you have no account you will need to re-register for access.
