The Practical Fishkeeping website and the Practical Fishkeeping Forum run from separate databases, so if you are registered on the main site, you won't automatically be a forum member.
You will need to register again to use the forum. Click here to register for forum access.
Upon completing the registration form you'll need to check your email and click the link in the activation link in the message the server automatically sends to you. This confirms to the forum that you are the owner of the email address you provided during registration. If you don't respond to this, you won't be able to post.
Unfortunately, unless you're both very quick and very lucky, you might not be able to secure the same username you have on the main site. However, on both sites you can change your passwords and get reminders sent to you by email, so hopefully this shouldn't cause too many problems for you all.
If you're only a registered forum user, please do check out the rest of the site (accessible from the main navigation at the top of the page). We think the site is one of the world's finest fishkeeping resources, and it's stacked with information - over 55,000 pages of it in fact - so you're bound to be able to find sufficient stuff to keep you interested for quite some time.
If you have any problems registering, please check out the FAQ on the forum, and the help page on the main site. There's a link to the help page at the very top right hand corner of this page and it includes most of the common questions, so you should be able to solve most issues by yourself. If you do get stuck, though, please drop me an email. My contact details are on the contacts page.
Cheers,
Matt
