Thanks, I love him, the "colour scheme" was the selling point.

Oh yeah, mine's very excitable but spends most of his time searching the gravel for more food! He's just learnt a new trick, which involves going 90deg vertical, trying to find food in the gravel, then propelling himself up backwards and landing somewhere near..and repeat.

He's about 1.5inches, maybe a touch bigger, excluding the tail.

Thanks for the info all!

Marge used to be so shy but in comparison to what she is now,i'd say its like a seizure she has with excitement.Marge has a new habbit of fluttering her front fins, its so freaking cute! She loves my nan,she ignores me when my nan's looking at the tank!.Your version of Marge is my version of Homer,he is a complete nut case with gravel. He's like a little alan titchmarsh,he digs through the gravel, hoovers it then hoovers & tends to the plants. He has a weird thing of being waved at,he goes mad for it.As their tanks in my room, its diaganol to my bed so if i wave at them,he goes mad, weird little fish!

Haha, Goggles (mums fantail) does that! He wiggles all along the front of the tank with excitement when he spots me. He goes even more nuts if I lean over to him and say 'goggle fish' in a funny voice. He looks like he's about to pop with excitement

Awww thats so cute!In their old tank,Homer used to think he could fly,He broke 2 lights doing it,i would try everything to stop him doing it but shouting 'HOMER!' really loudly would stop him...little bug!
I do have a video of the little mites.A member on here asked for a video of the little herbert & tried to get more footage of Marge but when the camera focuses on Marge, theres Homer getting his head in the shot...Homer obviously loves the camera, heres the video
