Ive been told it is part of the clean up group but i have not seen anything like this before. Could someone please tell me what it is and if there is any special care needed for it.
Its body is a little smaller than a ping pong ball, with lots of spikes of varying lengths upto 3 inches. It is dark blue/black in colour and has lots of small suckers on one part.

I went up to North Devon with my dad today to pick up my new ped (Peugeot SpeedFight :D), and on the way up we stopped at a garage, where dad had booked an MOT. There was a nice, large tank there, maybe 4ft long, but was quite a sad site to see, very bare and grubby, and it had a grand total of 5 fish in, 3 of which looked like some variety of barb, 1 little orange molly, and an adorable little sucker fish!
The little guy would attach to the tank, pretty much like a plec would, and was quite active. When I first looked at it, it has vertical stripes on it's body, and it seemed to change this to a horizontal line along it's body. It held it's top fin like a pleco's, and had four fins along it's body. He was maybe about 4-5 inches long?
I have a video of the little guy here, he darts around a lot at the start, but there's a few shots of him sitting still a bit further in.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb12i2vcv0w

If anyone could ID this little guy for me that would be great, I'm extremely curious to learn what he is :D

I know this section is called fish identification but wandered if anyone can name these snails.
They are in my mums 190ltr corner tank and started from one tiny snail.

We have tried to remove them by placing a lettuce leaf in the tank but none of them came to it.
I think the brown ones may be bladder snails but have no idea about the grey ones.

Should we remove these snails or are they better off left where they are?

BTW, I think the green stuff is algae, there are a few patches on the gravel on some on the leaves.
